Phnom Penh sight seeing

The visa application would take 5 working days to process so I had some time to kill.  On this day I took in a lot of Phnom Penh's tourist attractions and a some more.

The city is actually quite small so you don't need to spend a lot of time here.  I decided to walk from sight to sight so I could take in a little more.

The things I saw:
Grand Palace
Old buildings - great architecture me thinks
Central tourist market
Sports stadium
S21 - Tuol Sleng: the sight of a detention centre where a lot of people were murdered during the Khmer Rouge years.  It is located on the sight of a former high school.  It is really weird because the style of the buildings could pass for a Japanese school.
