Dex Eats Fido

The riding today was a lot more relaxed.  We only covered 120km with fewer stops.  As a mid-morning snack Tue offered for me to try some dog meat.  As an intrepid explorer I couldn't decline this chance at a foreign culinary delite(?).  The Vietnamese love their dog... to eat.  By my taste there isn't that much special about it.  Tastes like meat.

It was to late when Tue told me dog meat causes gout.  I'd already finished off a whole bowl full!

I also met some locals who were having a picnic at a waterfall we went to see.  They were very jolly and happy to meet me.  As always they didn't believe I am South African, not being black skinned, or they didn't know/understand where South Africa is.  My lucky day... they offered me what was definitely (endangered?) bush meet.  As far as I could gather it was some type of monkey dog... they were jolly.

When we got to our final destination, Buon Ma Thout, Tue headed straight back for Dalat.

DO NOT LOOK AT THIS PICTURE IF YOU ARE SENSITIVE OR AN ANIMAL LOVER!
