Public transport relay

One more early start and I was on my way to Phu Thok, an amazing Temple area.  The monks had built a series of walkways around an isolated outcrop.  There are seven rings going up to the top, each presenting the seven steps of enlightenment.


It's pretty tough to get there just on a day trip from Nong Khai.  I had to take two buses and then negotiate a with tuk-tuk driver to take me there and back.  It was some hard bargaining coming down from a ridiculous said price.


With the long bus rides and the tuk-tuk to get there it only left me an hour to sprint to the top and enjoy the scenery.


Was it worth it for such a short time?  I say yes.
