Exploring Banlung

In the morning the three of us went looking for a tour operator to do a trek with.  I’d have loved to do an 8 day trek in to the Vichearay National Park but I couldn’t afford the price tag it came with.  So instead I settled for doing more of a cultural trek with Dutch Couple to the outskirts of the Park.  The German couple decided against doing the trek in the fear it might rain while hiking.

That afternoon we walked to a nearby volcanic lake.  It rained buckets on the way to the lake, at the lake and on the way back from the lake.  There is a nice walk around the circumference of the lake.
