A Hidden City

Viang Xai is where the Loas rebel communist camp was stationed during the American War.  There were some 20 000 people that lived in the surrounding caves for many years.  Myself and a few folks I met on the bus over did a guided tour to several of the caves.


I really enjoyed the company of Samuel the Swiss and the four Brits on a gap year, James, Sam, xx and Emily.  Listening to their banter was very entertaining.
