Day 2 was just as relaxing as Day 1. I did get the shits though! This was the first time during my travels that I had diarrhoeal. I was hoping to escape it.
Sitting in my kayak, upstream from our party, I was drifting and relaxing when all of a sudden my stomach turned upside down in my abdomen. Not having time to yell to the others I rushed to the bank just in time to releave myself. I was very embarrassed and coy when I later joined the group. They were all patiently waiting for me to do my business and quite understanding.
After lunch Richard and I swapped kayaks. I joined Caro in the back of the double. The difference in handling was immediately noticeable. I had to adjust quickly as there were a few rapids along the way.
That afternoon we arrived at Hat Kho (I think), a substantially larger village and not isolated like the village the day before. We enjoyed playing games and chatting over a few beers.
