The Luxury of the Train

After an overnight bus from Luang Prabang to Vientiane I had the prospect of catching an overnight train from Nong Khai to Bangkok.  Fortunately the train is far more comfortable than the bus.  I enjoy travelling 3rd Class because that gives me more chance to do some people watching and observe the locals.
