After a scrumptious breakfast at 9 9’s house the five of us started the trek. It was more hilly than the previous trek I did but a lot less muddy.
I was soon disappointed by 9 9’s lack of knowledge on fauna and flora and irritated by his enthusiasm to constantly show us sleight of hand tricks. But he was very informative on the struggle between the various minority tribal people of Myanmar and the Burmese… he was a reble!
Along the way we stopped at a few villages. We went into a few schools and met many local people.
