The End of Rama – A Great Partnership

This morning was a sad day.  Rama had headed out to the South of Myanmar and I was on my own.  The bugger didn't even wake me up before he left.  But I wasn't surprised at this.  He had not woken me once in the dew days together.

I spent most of the day doing admin (laundry, writing my diary, arranging my bag… general stuff).  I was pleasantly surprised to see Rama walking past the restaurant I was having lunch at.  It was Rama's plan to hitchhike down to Yangon.  As it turns out there were next to no cars on the on the main highway south.  Those few cars that did stop were all only going a few kilometres down the road.  So unfortunately he was forced back to Mandalay to arrange more 'formal' transportation.

Cheers Rama.  It was a great adventure with you!
