Rama and I woke up surprisingly early given the amount of drink from the night before. At breakfast we met the Italian couple, who had also decided to trek to a nearby waterfall. Along the way we met Brennan and Erin, a couple from Seattle. Brennan had spotted us after we had made a wrong turn. They were also on their way to the waterfall. I fear I wasn’t very pleasant company from my hangover, which persisted until we swam in a pool at the base of the waterfall.
On the way home we took another route. A good idea as it took us through the rice fields away from the screaming road we had walked along previously.
